Managing Director Gordon Messinger Has Been Selected to Lease ±101,000 Square Feet of Class A Office Space at the Luxury Mixed-Use Development

Messinger,-Gordon--LowRes-Color-184x240CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it has been named exclusive office leasing agent for Giralda Place, a luxury mixed-use development that broke ground earlier this year in Coral Gables.

Managing Director Gordon Messinger will represent developer Giralda Complex LLC in leasing the project’s 101,302 square feet of Class A office space at 2222 Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Giralda Place also will include ±78,000 square feet of luxury residential condominiums and ±14,000-square feet of ground-floor retail.

The Giralda Place office component is comprised of two seven-story towers. The existing 43,602-square-foot East Tower will be fully renovated with a new roof, updated HVAC system and new exterior floor-to-ceiling glass windows. These upgrades are expected to be completed by September. Floor plates in the East Tower are 6,321 square feet.

The 57,700-square-foot West Tower is currently being built on an adjacent half-acre site and will be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017. West Tower floor plates range from 3,630 square feet up to 19,000 square feet. This building will sit atop a structured garage with a parking ratio of three spaces per 1,000 rentable square feet.

Giralda Place is located at the corner of Giralda Avenue and Ponce de Leon Boulevard in Miami’s Coral Gables submarket. The project is a short walk from world-class restaurants, shops, banks and hotels while providing easy access to Miami International Airport, Downtown Miami and Brickell.

A collaboration of South Florida’s most influential planning, design and development companies have joined forces to bring Giralda Place to market. These include B&G Design, Fullerton Group Architects, Grycon Construction and M2E Consulting Engineers.
